Taco Salad Trifle

Ingredients

  • 4 cups torn romaine lettuce
  • 1 15 ounce can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 3 cups prepared taco meat optional
  • 1 1/2 cup prepared guacamole
  • 1 15 ounce can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 1/2 cup fiesta blend cheese divided
  • 1 cup prepared salsa
  • 1 cup lightly crushed Fritos corn chips
  • 1 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions

Instructions

  • Press the lettuce into the bottom of a trifle bowl and layer the other ingredients on top of the lettuce in the order given, saving some tomatoes for the top.
  • Best if served immediately. If the salad needs to be refrigerated, wait to add the fritos, sour cream, and green onions until before serving.
