Cheese Ball Wreath is a festive and easy holiday appetizer! This is a bunch of mini cheese balls that are formed to look like a Christmas wreath.

Ingredients

For the ranch cheese ball filling:

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon Ranch seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

For the zesty herb cheese ball filling:

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup finely chopped chives
  • 1 cups shredded white sharp cheddar cheese

For the cheese ball toppings:

  • Chopped dried cranberries
  • Chopped pecans or almonds
  • Sliced green onions or chives
  • Finely chopped parsley
  • For the wreath garnish:
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs
  • Fresh thyme sprigs
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Fresh parsley leaves

Instructions

For the ranch cheeseballs:

  • Blend together the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  • Next you will mix in the seasonings until well combined.
  • Mix in the shredded cheese. Set aside.

For the herb cheeseballs:

  • Blend together the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  • Stir in the seasonings until well combined.
  • Mix in the shredded cheese.

Assembling the cheese ball wreath:

  • Use a cookie scoop to form balls out of the cheese ball mixtures and place onto a serving tray or cookie sheet.
  • Refrigerate cheeseballs for 1-2 hours, or until firm.
  • Roll the refrigerated cheese balls into the chopped cranberries, chopped pecans, green onions and parsley once chilled.
  • Form a ring with half of the cheeseballs on a serving tray or circular cutting board to create a wreath. Add a second layer on top of the ring of cheeseballs.
  • Use the fresh herbs to garnish around the edges of the cheese ball wreath.
  • Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve, enjoy!
