Ingredients
1/2cupunsalted buttersoftened
1/2cupgranulated sugar
1/2cuplight brown sugar
1egg
1/2teaspoonpure vanilla extract
1 1/2cupunbleached flour
1/2teaspoonbaking soda
1/2teaspoonsea salt + more for garnishing
1/4teaspoonbaking powder
1cupchocolate chips
1/2cuptoffee pieces + more for garnishing
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar (if using cold butter, microwave the butter for 20 seconds. If itβs still hard, microwave for another 5 seconds).
Add the egg and vanilla and mix well.
Stir in flour, baking soda, sea salt, and baking powder.
Fold in chocolate chips & toffee.
Create 1β cookie dough balls and place them about 1β apart on the baking sheet.
Bake for 7-8 minutes.
Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with toffee pieces.
Push the edges of the cookies into the center so that the cookies are a little thicker and they are all about the same size.
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
