36ouncebag frozen meatballs
20ouncecan pineapple chunksreserve the juice for the sauce
1small red bell peppercut into 1-inch chunks
1small green bell peppercut into 1-inch chunks
1small onioncut into 1-inch chunks
½cupbrown sugar
¼cupgranulated sugar
⅓cupapple cider vinegar
¼cupketchup
2tablespoonssoy sauce
2tablespoonscornstarch
Sliced green onionsfor garnish
Instructions
Place frozen meatballs into crockpot.
Top with pineapple chunks, bell peppers, and onions.
In a large measuring cup or bowl, combine the juice from the pineapple chunks can, apple cider, brown sugar, granulated sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Whisk well.
Pour the sauce into the crockpot over the meatballs. Stir well to mix all the ingredients together.
Cover crockpot with lid and cook on LOW for 3-5 hours or until the sauce has thickened and the meatballs are fully heated through. Stir halfway through cooking to ensure even heating.
Garnish with fresh chopped green onions. Serve as an appetizer on its own or as a meal over white rice. Enjoy!
