3lbsboneless skinless chicken breasts
2cupsBBQ saucedivided (used Baby Ray’s)
1 ½cupsapple butter
Instructions
Add the chicken, 1 ½ cups BBQ sauce and apple butter to the bottom of a 5 quart or larger slow cooker.
Cover and set the slow cooker to high for 3-4 hours, or 5-7 hours on low, until the chicken is fully cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165F degrees.
Use a fork to shred the chicken and stir in the remaining ½ cup of BBQ sauce.
Serve immediately as is, over buns, over mashed potatoes, or in a wrap, enjoy!
