Ingredients
1loaf1 lb frozen bread dough, thawed
1/4cupgranulated sugar
⅓cupbrown sugar
1 1/2tbspground cinnamon
1/4cupunsalted buttermelted
Optional Glaze:
1/2cuppowdered sugar
1tbspmilkmore as needed
Instructions
Thaw bread dough according to package directions (typically 4–6 hours at room temperature until doubled in size).
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, combine granulated sugar, half the brown sugar, cinnamon and melted butter. Set aside.
Use a sharp knife to cut 5-6 deep slits into the top of the dough crosswise, without cutting all the way through the bottom.
Brush the entire loaf generously with the melted butter sugar, making sure to get between the slits. Allow dough to rest for 25 minutes.
Sprinkle the remaining brown sugar all over and between the slits.
Bake for 30 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through. Whisk powdered sugar and milk together to create the glaze.
Let cool slightly before drizzling with glaze, if using. Enjoy!
