Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons finely minced onion
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons fresh parsley minced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh dill minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Place ingredients into a small bowl and whisk until well combined. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. For more acidity and a more tart flavor, add a little more lemon juice. For a bit more sweetness, add a little extra sweet pickle relish. If the flavors are too strong, whisk in a little more mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper to desired taste.
  • Optional for the best flavor: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve with beer battered fish and fries. Enjoy!
