Ghost Truffles are a delicous Oreo and chocolate frosting truffle that is shaped like a ghost and dipped in white chocolate. These bite-size Halloween truffles are a hit everytime I make them.
Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and set it to the side.
Then in a food processor you will add your Oreo cookies and crush them into a fine crumble.
Add the crumbs in a bowl along with the frosting and salt. Mix well to combine.
Grab a heaping tablespoon and then shape the truffle mixture into a bell shape. Then place it on the baking sheet. Repeat till all the truffles are made.
Refrigerate the truffles for 30-40 minutes. You want them to firm up.
Melt the candy melts as directed on the package. Then dip each truffle in the chocolate shaking off the excess chocolate.
Place it back on the parchment lined tray, and continue dipping all the truffles.
Once the choclate is set you will melt the black candy melts. Place in a piping bag or sandwich bag. Cut a small tip in the edge.
