Ingredients
8slicesbaconuncooked and chopped
1sweet onionchopped
1green pepperchopped
1red pepperchopped
3jalapeno peppersfinely chopped
2clovesgarlicminced
1/3cupall purpose flour
3cupschicken broth
18oz package cream cheese
2cupschickencooked and shredded
1cupheavy whipping cream
1tablespoontaco seasoning
½teaspoonsalt
¼teaspoonpepper
1cupcheddar cheeseshredded
For garnish: sliced green onionsbacon bits, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced jalapenos

Instructions
Add bacon, onion, green pepper, red pepper, jalapeno peppers and garlic to a large pot over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes or until onions are translucent and veggies are softened.
Stir in flour. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Stir in chicken broth, cream cheese, chicken, heavy whipping cream, taco seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
Once boiling, reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 30 minutes, uncovered, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese.
Ladle into soup bowls and garnish with sliced green onions, bacon, cheddar cheese and jalapenos, if desired.
