- 4 Russet potatoes washed, baked, peeled, and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 12 slices of bacon uncooked and chopped
- 1 yellow onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 cups half and half
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
