Monte Cristo Sliders

Monte Cristo Sliders are a take on the classic Monte Cristo sandwich but in mini slider form. Turkey, ham, Swiss cheese and more. A must make for parties, holiday gatherings, tail gating, or even make for a lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 12 rolls Hawaiian
  • 12 ham slices
  • 12 turkey slices
  • 12 Swiss cheese slices
  • 1/3 cup butter salted and melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • jam raspberry or strawberry optional

Instructions

  • Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. Next take a cookie sheet or 9x13 baking tray and prep with cooking spray.
  • Then you will slice the rolls in half, and place bottom half in the pan. Tak
  • Next you will add a layer of cheese on the rolls. Then add ham, turkey, and then top with the rest of the cheese slices. The
  • After the meat and cheese are stacked, put the top halves of the rolls right on top.
  • In a small bowl you will whisk up the egg, butter, and pepper. Use a pastry bursh to spread all over hte top of the rolls.
  • Bake for 25 minutes, or until the top of the buns are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Once the buns are done baking in the oven, remove and sprinkle on a little bit of powdered sugar and serve with some jam or maple syrup. (optional)
