Oreo Dirt Pie or mud pie is a classic dessert that mimics mud or a garden! A crunchy Oreo crust, chocolate pudding, and more crushed Oreo cookies and a gummy worm.

Ingredients

Crust

  • 2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs about 22 whole Oreos
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Filling

  • 1 3.9 ounce box of instant chocolate pudding
  • 1 ½ cups whole milk cold
  • 1 cup Oreo cookie crumbs about 11 whole Oreos
  • 1 8 ounce tub of whipped topping, thawed

Topping

  • ½ cup Oreo cookie crumbs about 6 whole Oreos
  • 8-10 gummy worms

Instructions

Crust

  • Add the Oreo crumbs, melted butter, and salt in a medium bowl and mix until well combined.
  • Turn the mixture into an ungreased 9-inch pie dish. Firmly press the crumbs into an even layer on the bottom and sides of the pan.
  • Place the crust in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling.

Filling

  • Whisk the milk and pudding in a large bowl until well combined and the pudding thickens.
  • Fold the Oreo crumbs into the pudding.
  • Fold the whipped topping into the pudding.
  • Turn the pudding into the prepared crust and spread it into an even layer with a spatula.
  • Chill the pie for at least two hours before serving.

Topping

  • Before serving, sprinkle with the Oreo crumbs and decorate with the gummy worms.
  • Cut into slices and serve chilled.
