Ingredients

  • 1 roll of Pillsbury crescent rolls
  • 3 tablespoons pizza sauce
  • 1 package Hormel pizza pepperoni or a similar brand
  • 8 slices mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375
  • Roll out the crescent rolls and pinch the seams securely (or, purchase the sheet of crescent rolls if available).
  • Press the roll of dough out to measure 12 x 15
  • Spoon on the pizza sauce and spread it over the surface of the dough, leaving a ¼ inch edge that’s free from the sauce.
  • Layer on the pepperoni so all the slices are touching, but in a single layer.
  • Layer on the sliced cheese.
  • Starting from the longest side, begin to roll the dough as tightly as possible, rolling towards the other end of the roll.
  • When completely rolled, pinch the free edge seam to the roll.
  • Using a serrated knife, cut the pizza roll into 12 slices. Use a sawing motion and don’t press too hard. Let the knife do the work.
  • Lay each roll down in a sprayed 9 x 13 baking dish.
  • Bake for about 20 – 25 minutes or until golden brown and the dough is baked through, and the cheese is melted.
  • Enjoy!
