Tater Tot Casserole

Ingredients

Serves- 6

Prep time- 20 minutes

Bake time- 5 hours

  • 32 ounce frozen tater tots
  • 3-4 boneless skinless chicken breasts diced
  • 12 slices bacon cooked and crumbled divided
  • 2 10.5 ounce cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheese 2 cups
  • Scallions for topping

Instructions

  • Spray your slow cooker with non-stick spray.
  • Place half of the tater tots in an even layer in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  • Add the cubed chicken in a layer over the tots.
  • Sprinkle over half of the bacon.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, milk, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and diced onion.
  • Pour this mixture over everything in the slow cooker.
  • Add the rest of the tater tots to the top.
  • Sprinkle over the cheese.
  • Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for 5 hours.
  • When it is done cooking add the rest of the bacon and sprinkle over the green onion if desired.
