- Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup warm water 110° to 120°
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 1/2 tablespoons active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cups milk warm
- 8 Tablespoons cup unsalted butter divided Butter Note: Use 5 tablespoons melted butter in the dough. The remaining 3 tablespoons are used if you're making the cinnamon swirl variation.
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 4-6 cups bread flour flour Flour Note: Start with 4 cups of bread flour, then add more a little at a time (up to 6 cups total) until the dough is soft, stretchy, and no longer sticky.
For Cinnamon Bread:
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
