whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda in a medium sized bowl. Set aside.
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, beat together the sugar, butter and brown sugar until fluffy and lighter in color, about 2 minutes.
Add in the eggs and beat together for 45 seconds.
Next, add in the mashed banana, sour cream and vanilla and mix until fully incorporated.
Add in the flour mixture and stir just until the flour has been incorporated.
Pour the cake batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth out.
Place the pan into the oven to bake for 65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean or with slightly moist crumbs.
Once baked, remove the pan from the oven and place onto a cooling rack or hot pad to cool.
While the cake is cooling, make the glaze.
