Ingredients
1tablespoonOlive oil
1/2cupDiced onion
1poundGround beef
1cupFire roasted tomatoes
3teaspoonsDijon mustarddivided
3teaspoonsWorcestershire saucedivided
1/2teaspoonSalt
1/2teaspoonBlack pepper
12Slider rolls
¼cupMayonnaise
14slicesAmerican cheese
12Bacon slicescooked and crumbled
1/4cupButtermelted
1tablespoonSesame seeds
Instructions
Heat the oven to 350° and spray a 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray.
Heat the olive oil in a large saute pan and cook the onions until fragrant about 4 minutes. Add the beef and cook until no longer pink.
Add the tomatoes, 1 teaspoon of mustard, 1 teaspoon of worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper and simmer until there is very little moisture left.
Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom half in the prepared pan. Spread the mayonnaise over the rolls and top with some cheese slices. Add the beef and top and sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the meat. Top with the remaining cheese and place the tops of the sliders on top.
Combine the butter, 2 teaspoons dijon mustard, and 2 teaspoons of worcestershire sauce, brush over the tops of the buns and sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
Cover the sliders with tinfoil and bake for 15 minutes, remove the tinfoil and continue baking for 5 minutes.
