Cheesy Bacon Garlic Biscuits!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter divided
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp chives divided
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 10 slices bacon cooked and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425F.
  • Prepare a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium microwave-safe bowl, add 1/2 cup butter. Heat until butter is melted. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, garlic and salt.
  • Pour the milk into the melted butter and 1 tsp of chives then stir well.
  • Pour the milk and butter mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Add shredded cheese, 1 tsp chives and bacon, and fold in until evenly distributed.
  • Spoon the dough onto baking sheet in 1/2 cup sized portions. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until biscuits are just barely golden brown.
  • Melt remaining 1/4 cup of butter in small mixing bowl. Add in the parsley and give it a stir to combine. Brush the butter parsley mixture over the tops of the biscuits.
