Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 oz packet of ranch dressing mix
  • 1 oz packet of au jus gravy mix
  • ½ cup unsalted butter sliced into pats
  • 8 pepperoncini peppers plus more for serving
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  • Place the chicken into a 6 quart or larger slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle the ranch and au jus seasoning packets over the top of the breasts.
  • Place the pats of butter on top of the chicken, along with the pepperoncini peppers
  • Pour the water around the chicken breasts.
  • Cover and cook on high for 3-5 hours, or low for 8 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through with an internal temperature of 165F.
  • Shred the chicken with a fork and serve warm over your favorite mashed potatoes with extra pepperoncinis, enjoy!
