Absolutely. If you need to make more than enough for four people, feel free to double the recipe. Even a smaller crockpot can hold at least two times the amount of the servings if need be, so double the recipe if you’d like.

What type of fajita seasoning should I use?

You can use any brand of fajita seasoning that you prefer. If you’ve ever tried a brand before and liked it a lot, use that to make this steak taste even better.

Can I use taco seasoning for this recipe?

Yes, you can replace one packet of fajita seasoning with taco seasoning. However, taco seasoning tends to have a bit more chili powder, so it may make these fajitas taste a bit spicier. If you don’t mind that, it’s fine to use the taco seasoning.

Recipe Notes & Tips

  1. Serve these fajitas with your favorite toppings. They taste amazing when prepared with fresh salsa, sour cream, guacamole, avocado slices, and shredded cheese. Use what you like to customize the fajitas to your liking, making them that much more enjoyable.

  2. If you don’t like flour tortillas, it’s fine to use corn tortillas. They’ll taste just as good with the steak and toppings that you choose to use.

  3. This dish isn’t spicy. However, if you’re a fan of spicy foods and would like to kick up the heat, feel free to add some jalapeno peppers or even serrano peppers to the crockpot. You can also add these peppers as a topping to your fajitas for added flavor, whichever you prefer.
