Recipe Notes & Suggestions
-
Once you’ve seasoned your meat, allow it to sit in the seasonings in a container or Ziploc bag in the fridge for around four hours. When you do this, you’re letting your meat marinade soak up all the flavor from the spices.
-
It’s important to let the skillet get hot before you put your meat in it because you’re searing the meat. So, place the olive oil in the skillet, set it on medium-high heat, and wait until you know it’s hot enough before you begin adding your steak pieces into the skillet.
-
Do your best to avoid overcooking the meat. You’re going to need to keep in mind that the meat will continue to cook for several minutes, even after you’ve removed it from the skillet. It’s better to remove it sooner than to wait too long and overcook your steak bites.
What to Serve with the Steak Bites
Once you’ve prepared your steak bite, you can serve them with some of your favorite sides. They taste great over a bed of rice, but you can also serve them with a side of mashed potatoes, fries, corn on the cob, roasted broccoli, or anything else that you enjoy with your meals!
One of my favorite things about this recipe is how the edges get slightly crispy from being pan seared! They would even make a great appetizer! Just stick tooth picks in each and place them on a serving platter!
They are ultra juicy with such a great flavor! They have a very mild heat to start and the pan sauce that is just perfect for developing into a gravy over rice or whipped potatoes.
…
This is definitely a 5-star recipe! Not only is it super easy but the steak is so tender too! incredibly delicious! I have made this for dinner so many times and my family LOVES it!
