Let me just start off by saying that once you try this recipe- there is no going back.
It is SO good and to make it even better? the sauce is something out of a fairytale! This delicious chicken is pan-fried in butter and perfect seasonings to create a creamy pan sauce that will have you coming back for seconds.. or thirds!
I served it over spaghetti but any type of pasta will work. You could also serve it along side mashed potatoes and a veggie (which we have done before).
BUT I’m half Italian so I love, ok.. I NEED my pasta!
Look at all those beautiful seasonings above, those MAKE the sauce incredible!
You want to be sure to get each side of the chicken,
slightly browned as you see above.
You want to make sure to sear in all those seasonings and flavors!
Just LOOK at that sauce… *drool*
I originally saw this recipe on Plain Chicken – please go check out Stephs blog- it is SO full of amazing recipes you will love!
I TWEAKED the recipe and changed it a bit here and there and it came out FANTASTIC.
I have always been the type of girl that LOVES full flavor in my food, I can’t have any type of plain food on my plate- it just won’t do! I NEED that burst of deliciousness and ‘packed with flavor’ type meal.
One of the KEYS to cooking- as my mother has always taught me, is
to TASTE TASTE & TASTE.. I am always tasting everything to make sure the flavor is up to par 😉
There is nothing worse then serving food to your family and its missing the ‘kick’ of flavor by just a few sprinkles of salt or pepper or even garlic powder!
As you make anything, always taste throughout to make sure its to your liking!
This recipe is TRIED AND TRUE!
Dinner doesnt always have to be complicated, this is a one pan dish
(other than the pasta) but thats an easy one 😉
I have made this 4 times in the last two weeks because its THAT good!
Dinner on the table in less than 20 minutes?? YES PLEASE!

This was delicious! I was out of garlic powder, so I just sauteed one clove of minced garlic in the melted butter after cooking the chicken and before adding the cream. I served it with quinoa. Everyone loved it. Will definitely make again, maybe with some sliced mushrooms added in.

This is absolutely fantastic and easy to Maleah! I used non-dairy creamer and an extra teaspoon of cornstarch instead of cream and it worked perfectly! I highly recommend it. I also took the chicken out of the skillet before making the sauce.

There are 15 nearly identical pictures of this that we have to wade through before we get to the recipe, not to mention all the unnecessary personal stuff. One picture is all it took for me to want to see the recipe. I don’t read blog gibberish. Cut to the chase and print the recipe first, then tell your story. If people are interested, they’ll read it no matter where it is. That being said, it sounds very good and I want to try it.

Not to be rude, but to respond to what you have written, its MY blog and I will continue to run it the way that pleases me.
Its not difficult to scroll down to the bottom, where every recipe is located on any blog you read. It takes literally less than 5 seconds.
That being said. I hope you enjoyed it lol 😉

The family gave this a 5 star. Personally …as the chef who has cookes several lazone recipes …I would have prefered breast meat which is typical of lazone recipes (and I do prefer thigh in some other types of recipes.) But …the sauce was STELLAR and the rest very good. So …I will give the recipe a 5 star rating too …but I may use breast meat the next time I cook it and give it a 5+ rating (and, I plan to cook this again …and again.)
Thanks for sharing. I highly recommend this excellent recipe! Breast or thigh …DO IT!

Hi! I’ve made this quite a few times now and we love it! First time I made it, I didn’t have been broth so I used chicken. Also had to tweak the seasoning a bit towards the end and it needed more liquid, but that’s an easy fix. And I also used breasts as that’s what I had on hand. My question is this- have you ever made it in a crockpot? I’m going camping this weekend and thinking I’d make it in a crockpot for everybody. Planning to serve it over rice as that’s our preferred way. Thank you!
