Reasons to Make This Cranberry Holiday Punch

  • This is a non-alcoholic holiday punch recipe. But you can easily add booze to make it an alcoholic punch for adults to sip on as well.
  • This punch takes minutes to make. So if you want an easy but festive drink then try this punch.
  • Sweet, tart, and so refreshing down to the last sips.
  • You will find kids and adults both enjoy the flavors of this drink recipe.
  • Versatile in how you flavor the punch, with endless ways to change up the flavor! Have fun and create a drink that fits exactly what you want.

Ingredients

Orange Juice – Reach for orange juice for a nice punch of citrus. Any brand works, or take an extra step and make fresh orange juice.

Cranberry – Plain cranberry juice adds a nice tart component to the drink. It really helps the drink stand out.

Pineapple Juice – Sweeten up and balance all the flavors with some pineapple juice. The tropical spin brings all the drink flavors together.

Ginger Ale – Now I love a punch that has some bubbly to it. The ginger ale sweetens and adds a nice fizzy component to the punch.

Variations To Recipe

Juice Used – Pomegranate juice, flavored cranberry juice, pineapple orange juice, apple juice, or even apple cider are some of our favorite change-ups.

Soda – Lemon-lime soda, carbonated water or more can be swapped in to replace the ginger ale in the recipe.

Fresh Fruit – Use fresh orange slices, cranberries, and more to decorate the punch. Add fresh fruit in the punch and then garnish in each glass when you serve it up.

Alcohol – Want to make this an adult punch? If so, add in a shot of tequila, vodka, white rum, or even amaretto for an adult boozy punch. I like to add the alcohol to the glass itself. But if it is solely for adults spike the whole container if you want.

Tips for Making Punch

Serving On Ice

Do not add the ice to the punch until right before serving. Of course, the ice will melt and water down the flavor of the punch. So hold off on ice until you know you are serving right away.

Start with Cold Ingredients

I recommend making sure the soda and the juices are fully chilled in the fridge before I start mixing up the drink. This is going to help prevent the ice from melting as fast.

Adjust Amounts Of Each Juice

You can play around with the amount of juice used to make the punch. Get creative and try different amounts to alter the flavor of the punch to fit your tastebuds.

Storing

Make Ahead Option

If you want to make your drink ahead of time, simply mix all three juices. Keep stored in the fridge until you are ready. You can do this 1 day ahead of time. Then right before serving, add in the ginger ale and then serve each glass over ice.

Refrigerate

You can refrigerate any of the punch you do not drink for 1-2 days. Simply remove the ice and then cover it in a sealed container. Right before you serve up again, stir well. Then add in additional ginger ale to create the fizzy component of the drink again.

Freeze

Freeze any of the punch in a freezer container or make it into ice cubes for drinking later. If you freeze into ice cubes add to a glass of ginger ale or lemon lime soda. As it melts it will add more flavor to the drink. I also want to say if you freeze make sure that you leave room for the drink to expand as it freezes.
