As time goes on, I feel like we run out of recipes to make even though there are ENDLESS recipes that can be found!
This recipe is so simple and has such wonderful flavor, it is sure to be a recipe you add into your weekly rotation!
Its one of those recipes that has all ingredients that most everyone already has in their home!
Nothing crazy, just great taste!
Next time I’m going to try it with sausage!
Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta!
Ingredients
- 10 ounces elbow macaroni uncooked
- 8 slices bacon diced
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 2 onions sliced
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 14 ounce can chopped tomatoes
- 1/2 cup of tomato sauce
- 1/2 stick of butter salted
- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the macaroni according to package directions, drain and add 1/2 stick of butter to the hot pasta, set aside and keep warm.
- In a large skillet, cook the diced bacon until crisp
- Add ground beef and onions and cook together until beef is thoroughly cooked through.
- Stir in chili powder and salt & pepper - cook for about 5 minutes.
- Add the tomato sauce and chopped tomatoes & stir until well combined.
- Stir in cooked macaroni and shredded cheese and parmesan cheese as well.
- Cook over low heat until cheese is melted and everything is heated through.
- ENJOY!
