Dill Pickle Salad Ingredients
Before you get started, be sure to have the right ingredients to prepare the Dill Pickle Salad. The ingredients needed include:
Noodles – Elbow noodles will work great in this salad.
Dill Pickles – Slice your pickle into small pieces.
Bacon – Prepare your bacon to your liking and chop it or crumble it into pieces.
Cheddar Cheese – Don’t forget the cheddar cheese, which adds more flavor to this dish.

Do I have to use elbow macaroni in this recipe?
No! While elbow macaroni works great in this salad, you can use other types of noodles, such as rotelle or rotini. You might even want to use bow ties to prepare this flavorful pasta.
Can I use some miracle whip instead of mayo?
While you have the option of using Miracle Whip, it might alter the taste of this salad, making it slightly sweeter. Of course, this isn’t a problem if it’s what you’re used to, so feel free to use it if you like it better than traditional mayo.
What type of bacon will I need for this recipe?
You can use any kind of bacon you prefer. Choose the brand and flavor that you like most, preparing it in a skillet and then crumbling it into pieces for today.
Can I add other ingredients to this salad?
Yes, you can add other ingredients to this salad, such as corn. However, this salad tastes amazing the way that it is, so you truly don’t need to worry about adding anything else to it to make it taste good.
Recipe Notes & Tips
Make sure you’re undercooking the noodles by around 30 seconds because they will start softening up when they’re soaked in the pickle juice, mayo, and other ingredients.
If you love the flavor of the dressing, feel free to add even more pickle juice to it. The addition of pickle juice makes this salad even better.
When storing the Dill Pickle Pasta Salad, be sure to keep it in an airtight container, place it in the fridge, and keep it there, where it stays fresh for up to five days.
