You can use any cheese you’d like, I know some love provolone on their’s & other people love cheese wiz.
You can use thinly sliced chicken in this recipe too which is equally as scrumptious!
This is a recipe the whole family is sure to love!
You can add mushrooms too which work beautifully with this dish (If you like them).
This recipe does not get any easier and it’s easy on your wallet too because it uses ground beef or you can use thinly sliced shaved steak!
It’s so flavorful and it melts in your mouth! Definitely a keeper for sure.

Philly Cheese Steak Stuffed Shells
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 small yellow onion diced
- 1 small green bell pepper diced
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar divided
- 24 jumbo pasta shells cooked al dente follow package instructions
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Add the ground beef to a large skillet and brown over medium heat.
- Spoon the beef out of the skillet into a glass bowl and add the butter, onions and peppers.
- Cook for 4 minutes stirring halfway through.
- Add the beef back into the pan.
- Add the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt and black pepper to the mixture and stir.
- Stir in half of the shredded cheddar take it off the heat and scoop it into the pasta shells.
- Using the same pan add the beef broth, milk and cornstarch and whisk before turning the heat back on.
- Add in the rest of the cheddar cheese a little at a time while whisking for 3-5 minutes or until thickened.
- Pour about half the sauce around the shells.
- Bake in the oven for 10 minutes to melt the cheese.
- Serve with remaining sauce.
