You’ll also need Zatarain’s Yellow Rice and shredded cheddar cheese that you can add on top of your rice with chicken.

Ingredients
  

Serves-6

Cook time- 6 hours

  • 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 envelope package Lipton's onion soup mix
  • 1 10.75-oz can Cream of Chicken soup
  • Family size box of Zatarain's Yellow Rice
  • 1 8-oz container sour cream
  • 4- oz Velveeta cheese
  • Shredded cheese for topping optional

Instructions

  • Place chicken in the slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle with onion soup mix.
  • Top chicken with cream of chicken soup.
  • Cover slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3.
  • Shred the chicken in the slow cooker.
  • Stir in sour cream and Velveeta cheese.
  • Prepare rice according to package directions.
  • Stir into cheese and chicken mixture.
  • Top with shredded cheddar if desired, serve!!

    I love this recipe, thou my family is not a fan of velvetta so I found a Ragu cheese sauce to use instead and it comes out wonderful.
