Recipe Tips & Suggestions
-
Make sure you’re cooking on high for four hours or low on six hours, but not any longer than that. If you cook it for a longer period, the chicken will become dry, which ruins the dish.
-
It’s best to eat this meal immediately instead of preparing it in advance. It tastes best coming straight out of the slow cooker, where it’ll be piping hot and ready to enjoy with your loved ones. Of course, you can still reheat it if you need to, but try it fresh to enjoy it at its best.
-
You can add a few extra ingredients to the slow cooker with your ham, chicken, and more, such as corn and chopped broccoli. Some people like to add veggies to this dish!
How to Store the Crock Pot Cordon Blue
Wait for your food to cool down while it’s in the slow cooker before transferring it to an airtight container. You can put it in the airtight container and place it in the fridge, where it’s safe to store for up to five days. When you want to eat more of it, simply put some of the meal in a microwave-safe bowl, place it in the microwave, and then reheat it for about a minute until the mixture is hot again.
This recipe is quick, simple, delicious and tastes absolutely amazing. Honestly, it is so simple to make & tastes like you’ve spent all day in the kitchen making it.
