Ingredients for the Sweet Bread Recipe
When preparing this sweet bread, you’re going to need the following ingredients:
Butter – Let your butter sit at room temperature before you use it in this recipe.
Sugar – A cup of sugar will give your baked bread a sweet taste.
Pineapple Juice – Bring the sweet taste of pineapple to this bread with pineapple juice.
Vanilla – A bit of vanilla extract takes the flavor to the next level.
Flour – Of course, you’ll need some flour to prepare the batter for this bread.
Crushed Pineapple – Grab a can of any brand of crushed pineapple.
Chopped Pineapple – Use some fresh chopped pineapple in this bread, too.
Other ingredients needed include shortening, two eggs, a yolk, pineapple flavor, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. When you’re preparing this bread, you’re also going to need powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk.
Is it hard to learn how to make sweet bread?
Not at all. Even if you’re not a professional in the kitchen, you can easily prepare this pineapple loaf cake. It only takes 15 minutes to assemble everything, most of which involves combining ingredients in a bowl and mixing them.
What type of texture does this pineapple loaf cake have?
This bread has a soft texture. It’s thick, sweet, and colorful because of the pineapple added to it. You can expect it to have a moist and delicious taste because of the addition of the pineapple juice, crushed pineapple, and chopped pineapple.
Shortening – Room temp butter may be used instead.
Milk – In the glaze, water or half and half may be used instead.
Can I add other fruits to this recipe?
Absolutely! If you’re a fruit lover, feel free to add other types of fruits to this recipe, such as peaches, strawberries, or raspberries. You can also add fresh fruit slices on top with the glaze to make this bread taste even better!
What should I do if the glaze is a bit too thick?
If your glaze comes out too thick, it’s not a problem. There is a quick way to fix it. Simply add an extra teaspoon or two of milk to thin it out a bit.
Do I have to add the glaze on top of this loaf cake?
While you don’t have to add the glaze on top of this bread if you don’t want to, it’s the perfect addition to the loaf cake because it adds a sweet touch of flavor. If you don’t plan on using the glaze, you can also use a bit of whipped topping with this baked treat.
Recipe Notes & Tips
After you’ve added your flour to the batter, make sure you’re not overmixing it because then it will create a crumbly bread that doesn’t have the best texture.
If you don’t have shortening for this recipe, you can use butter as a replacement, but you’ll need to make sure that you’ve let it sit out to reach room temperature beforehand.
While the glaze consists of milk, you can substitute the milk for water or half-and-half, whichever you prefer.
Prepare this incredible bread with pineapple to have a sweet treat ready to eat as a snack or satisfying breakfast. It’s a pineapple lover’s paradise!
