This Southern Peach Pie was my grandmother’s pie recipe & I have never seen another one quite like it. It will always be my all time favorite dessert to bake! I know it will become one of your favorites as well!
Not only is this recipe very easy to make, but the flavor is literally outstanding! It takes under 6 ingredients to make the filling too!
You can use a store bought crust OR do a homemade version (your favorite pie crust recipe) I will be adding my grandmothers here on the blog soon! so please stay tuned! it will be in another recipe post separate from this one- it will be up in time for holiday and fall baking, so don’t worry!
My grandmother passed away back in 2009, she has been gone almost 10 years now! there seems to be less and less of her to hold on to and to pass along now a days, so I really want to bring all of these dessert recipes to you all for everyone to enjoy!
I want to be able to pass along these recipes to her grandchildren (one on the way right now! ) Im having a little girl in 3 months time and its sad to know she will never know her. Some might say that having some pie recipe is not much of a legacy, but when I see everyone eating and raving over her recipes, I can truly say that my grandmothers love for cooking and baking still brings families so much joy and love.
I adore baking season and I know its coming in a few short weeks time! I will be doing so so much fall baking , then more and more christmas time baking – I can’t wait to share so many new recipes with you all! I so appreciate everyone who follows along and enjoys my recipes!
It is truely a great pie recipe. Adding a little whipped cream or a big cold scoop of vanilla ice cream to the top, makes it a real show stopper and my most requested pie!
Excellent, not too sugary sweet like some. I always like to tent my pies with foil when browned nicely to keep from over-browning, it keeps the top perfect without overcooking 🙂

I have been making this recipe for 42 years. So glad I found the recipe, as I left my copy home, and am visiting friends! Best recipe ever. This has always been my son’s birthday pie!
