Taco Salad Trifle
Ingredients
- 4 cups torn romaine lettuce
- 1 15 ounce can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 3 cups prepared taco meat optional
- 1 1/2 cup prepared guacamole
- 1 15 ounce can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 1/2 cup fiesta blend cheese divided
- 1 cup prepared salsa
- 1 cup lightly crushed Fritos corn chips
- 1 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup sliced green onions
Instructions
- Press the lettuce into the bottom of a trifle bowl and layer the other ingredients on top of the lettuce in the order given, saving some tomatoes for the top.
- Best if served immediately. If the salad needs to be refrigerated, wait to add the fritos, sour cream, and green onions until before serving.
