Desperate Signs Your Wife Needs You To Listen to Her

Is your wife sharing signs that she is desperate for you to listen to her? Let me share desperate signs your that your wife is showcasing that she needs from you. It might be where she doesn’t require you to fix her problem, but sit and listen to her as she expresses herself.

Women talk a lot more than men. Studies show it is three to four times as much as men. Because of that talking is something our brains tell us we need to do. Even just speaking words that we feel can help us to release any stress, anger, sadness, or other emotion that is eating at us. See if your wife or partner is showcasing these signs for you to stop what you are doing and listen.

– Signs Your Wife Needs You To Listen NOW-

  • Been With Kids All Day

Being a mom is wonderful, but it does come with some headaches and stress on hard days. If she has been cooped up inside watching the kiddos, and she needs adult conversation. When you get home after work, sit and see if she needs to say anything. Ask her how the day was, how she is feeling, etc. Try to give her a break to shower or even soak in a hot bath, light some candles for her. 

  • Counseling

A lot of times women will say you need to go to counseling as a couple long before a man would. We can be more sensitive to the relationship and feel like where there is a lack of communication, loss of respect, intimate struggles, etc. If your wife mentions anything about counseling, you might need to sit down and talk and see what is going on, and how to fix the relationship. If she is looking for someone to step in to help she is really attempting to fix things before they get worse.

  • Frustrated and Easily Triggered

If you see your wife is a bit quicker to get frustrated or quicker to get angry, she might need you to listen to what is going on. Maybe she had a hard day at work, the stress of what is on her to-do list, a fight with a friend. Whatever the case may be, the best way to find out is to communicate. Talk and listen to what she has to say, and try to connect with how she is feeling. Just being there for her means more than you know.

  • Being Extra Quiet

A lot of times this is missed, but if you see your wife is extra quiet, make sure to check in with her. Hug her, hold her hand, or just ask how her day has gone. Try to give her a few options to share. If  she is a little quiet and you are just wondering if something is bothering her. talk to her. Let her know that you love her, not just with words but also actions. Bring home a sweet card or a single rose just to show her you’re thinking about her.

  • Going Through A Struggle

Whether it be a loss in the family, a fight between the two of you, work-related stresses, or any other struggle. If you know your wife is going through something that could be hard, check in. Talk to her and see if she needs to get anything off her chest. Talking helps women, it helps everyone. Sometimes talking about any issue helps make the situation better.

  • Emotional Withdraw

Women are most of the time led by emotions. When you see she is beginning to withdraw from you, it is because she probably has tried crying out for your attention and it went unseen. She is defending herself when this happens so she won’t keep getting rejected by you; she tries to gain time to talk or for your affection. Make sure you take time during these moments to let her know you care, you are here for her, and you love her. She is probably very hurt at this point. Remember to give her more of your time. 

  • She Becomes Busier

When your wife begins spending more time with her friends or skipping spending time with you to be with them, it could mean her needs are met. Maybe she needs to express her feelings and her friends sit and listen and offer advice. Give a good look at where she is going and why. Is it just errands and tasks she is checking off her list, or maybe she is searching for that emotional support she is needing.

  • Before Bed

Make sure that you don’t just reach out to your wife when you feel there is a problem. Aim to talk each night before bed. Keep your relationship healthy, communicate freely, and show her the love and support she needs. Work at trying to listen to what she has to say, to catch on if there is something happening that she might need to express herself about.

The goal here is learning how to connect her emotions with how she is feeling. Don’t just jump in when there is an issue; work on being a better listener daily to your wife. A marriage takes work, and men and women are different, that is something we can’t change. Try to meet her needs when it comes to communication and see if it can help build and strengthen your marriage.
