Which vanilla wafers should I use?
You can use a Nilla Wafer or any other type of vanilla wafer cookie when preparing your Easy Banana Pudding. Most grocery stores offer a generic version of these cookies that taste just as great as the name-brand option.
What if I don’t have sweetened condensed milk?
If you do not have canned sweetened condensed milk, you might have the ingredients needed to make it from scratch before using it to prepare your Banana Pudding Recipe. The ingredients needed to make sweetened condensed milk include whole milk, salted butter, vanilla extract, and maple syrup.
Which brand of instant pudding mix do I use?
While the Jell-O brand is a popular choice for preparing banana pudding, you can use any brand of instant pudding that you have available. There is nothing wrong with using the generic version for this recipe!
Can I use a homemade whipped topping?
You have the option of using store-bought whipped topping, such as Cool Whip, or making whipped topping from scratch. If you would like to make it from scratch, you will need heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to prepare it.
How long do I need to keep it in the refrigerator?
After preparing the Easy Banana Pudding, let it sit in the refrigerator for a minimum of four hours. It does taste best when it has time to get cold in the fridge. How to store the banana pudding
Put your pudding in a food storage container with a lid and put it in the fridge. You will need to keep it cold to get it to stay fresh. It is best to add the slices of banana to the top of the pudding when you are ready to serve it instead of doing so beforehand. If you add the slices too soon and do not serve right away, those pieces may start turning brown.

You can whip up this delicious dessert in about 15 minutes or less. While it does not take a long time to prepare your ingredients and combine them to create a delicious pudding, you do need to give the pudding time to sit in the fridge.
