Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef
Ingredients
Serves-4
Cook time- 4 hours
- 1 1/2 pounds flank steak or beef roast thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup green onions plus more for garnish
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Place the flank steak in a bowl with the cornstarch and toss to coat.
- Add the flank steak to your slow cooker.
- To the slow cooker add your sesame oil, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, green onions and water in the slow cooker.
- Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or low for 4-6 hours.
- Top with more green onions and some sesame seeds.
- Serve over white rice.
