I love pinwheels in general but when I made this version, everyone went crazy over them and they were gone almost immediately!

It doesnt matter what time of year it is, Summer or Winter or any season in between- I always get excited when I see pinwheels at any party! One of the first things I gravitate towards! They’re so fun and easy to eat too!
There are so many different versions out there! the flavor possibilities are endless!
Since ‘crack’ recipes are viral all over the internet now a days, I knew I had to make a pinwheel version!
“crack’ when used as a recipe term, just means bacon and cheese (in a savory dish) and who doesnt love bacon and cheese?! They are two of my favorite things to eat, I knew I had to make these pinwheel appetizer versions stuffed with those magical flavors.
These delicious easy pinwheels can also be made ahead of time! Just cover with plastic wrap and stick in the fridge until ready to pop in the oven, melt the cheese and they will be ready to serve! I adore any type of Make-ahead recipe! They are my absolute favorite whenever I’m hosting any type of get together, pool party or any type of party! You are definitely going to want to make a double batch, these are one of the appetizers that fly off the platter as soon as your guests lay their eyes on them! They go quickly!

Cheddar Bacon Garlic Crack Pinwheels
Ingredients
- 1 loaf French Baquette
- 1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 cup softened Butter
- 1/2 cup chopped Cooked Bacon
- 1/4 cup chopped Green Onions
- 2 tsp Dijon Mustard
- 1/2 tsp Minced Garlic
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Cut bread into 1" slices, but DO NOT cut all the way through the bottom.
- Combine all other ingredients and mix until blended.
- Spread this mixture between the partially cut slices of bread.
- Wrap loaf in foil and bake 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Slice and serve
- ENJOY!
