- New York Strip Steak – This recipe will need four one-ounce steaks.

- Crushed Garlic – Take six cloves of garlic, lightly crush them, and divide them.
- Rosemary – Use fresh rosemary or parsley sprigs
- Baby Bella Mushrooms – Add these mushrooms to prepare a flavorful sauce.

Butter Steak Recipe Variations
- If you don’t have rosemary sprigs, you can use parsley sprigs as an alternative ingredient to add flavor to your steak.
- Not a fan of mushrooms? Not a problem. You can replace the mushrooms with caramelized onions, preparing an onion sauce instead of a mushroom sauce.
- You can use your favorite blend of seasonings on this steak. However, it doesn’t need much, so salt and pepper with the creamy mushroom sauce is certainly enough!
Garlic Butter Steak Notes
- Before you begin seasoning your steaks, let them sit out on the kitchen counter for a minimum of 30 minutes. The seasoning will adhere better to both sides of the steak when it has had time to reach room temperature.
- Coat your cooking pan with oil and wait until it begins smoking before placing your steaks into the pan. It’s the best way to sear them.
- If your sauce appears too thin, continue cooking until it reduces. If it seems to be taking too long, I’d suggest adding a teaspoon of cornstarch to your mushroom sauce to thicken it up.
