Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar Notes
- Avoid overmixing the batter. Start slowly when you’re mixing your ingredients so that you don’t overdo it.
- You have to let your butter sit out and soften if you want to prepare the cookie dough. It doesn’t work well with cold butter. You don’t need to melt the butter.
- Allow your cookie bars to cool down for several minutes before you begin slicing into them. It’s better this way because then you don’t have to worry about the bars falling apart on you while slicing them.
