Biting into Hawaiian Sweet Rolls with ham and swiss cheese is pure heaven. Each bite is filled with delicious flavor that is hard to find in appetizers. While this can be a regular meal too, it’s always a party favorite. Not to mention it’s one of the easiest sliders you could possibly make!

While you can choose the condiments you add to your sliders, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and melted butter on top make for the perfect flavoring. Plus, if you’ve never tried Hawaiian rolls, you’re going to fall in love. They are sweet and soft, the perfect sandwich bread, really.

Why You Should Make These Sliders

While you may not need a lot of convincing to make these sliders, there are a few obvious reasons why you should make them.

  • They’re so easy to make!

  • They are a great recipe to use leftovers for. Leftover ham and dinner rolls are common leftovers around the holidays.

  • A freezable meal. You can make these and freeze them for later to enjoy!

  • Ham, cheese, and dinner rolls are the perfect combination for an appetizer or meal.

  • The kids can help you with making these sliders.

The list could go on and on, but this is a small list of why you should make these sliders.

Variations of the Recipe

If you’d like to switch things up with this recipe, there are some things you can change up!

  • Switch out the meat – If you don’t have ham, leftover turkey works great too. You can also use whatever type of lunchmeat you have on hand.

  • Switch up the cheese – Don’t have Swiss cheese? You can easily switch out the cheese and use whatever you have in your fridge.

  • Leave out any seasonings – Because this meal is so versatile, you can leave out any seasonings you don’t have. The recommended seasonings will make your recipe turn out the best, but use what you have!

Hopefully, these tips will help you put this meal together, even if you don’t have all of the ingredients.

Can you make Ham and Cheese Hawaiian Sliders in advance?

The beautiful thing about this meal is that you can make it in advance. You can cross it off your list early! You can make them early, place them in the fridge, and put them in the oven later.

Do you have to eat these ham and cheese sliders warm?

If you like cold sandwiches, these wouldn’t taste terrible. They do seem to taste better if you put them in the oven. However, if your ham is fully cooked and ready to be eaten, go for a cold sandwich if that’s what you prefer.

TIPS:
May be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 5 days.
Heat before serving for best taste.

Everything but the Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend can be found at Walmart, Trader Joes, or Amazon.

This is a great way to use up leftover ham from the holidays. You can cut it a little thicker as well. But you can use pre sliced ham when you do not have a holiday ham.
