These Ham & Cheese Sliders are the perfect appetizer for the Holidays or they can be the perfect after-Holiday lunch, by using up the leftover ham from Dinner!
Biting into Hawaiian Sweet Rolls with ham and swiss cheese is pure heaven. Each bite is filled with delicious flavor that is hard to find in appetizers. While this can be a regular meal too, it’s always a party favorite. Not to mention it’s one of the easiest sliders you could possibly make!
Ham and Cheese Sliders
This meal is great because you can make it with fresh ingredients or leftovers from the holidays. If the kids get really hungry after school and you’re at a loss for what to make them, this is a great meal or snack option. Really, there is no bad time to make sliders!
While you can choose the condiments you add to your sliders, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and melted butter on top make for the perfect flavoring. Plus, if you’ve never tried Hawaiian rolls, you’re going to fall in love. They are sweet and soft, the perfect sandwich bread, really.

Can you make Ham and Cheese Hawaiian Sliders in advance?
The beautiful thing about this meal is that you can make it in advance. You can cross it off your list early! You can make them early, place them in the fridge, and put them in the oven later.
Do you have to eat these ham and cheese sliders warm?
If you like cold sandwiches, these wouldn’t taste terrible. They do seem to taste better if you put them in the oven. However, if your ham is fully cooked and ready to be eaten, go for a cold sandwich if that’s what you prefer.

May be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 5 days.
Heat before serving for best taste.

Ham and Cheese Sliders
Ingredients
- 1 package 12 rolls Hawaiian Sweet Rolls or leftover dinner rolls
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 5 Tablespoons melted butter divided
- 1/2 cup Jellied Cranberry Sauce optional
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 6-12 thick slices ham leftover ham is great, if using pre sliced ham you may want to use more for a thicker sandwich
- 12 slices Swiss cheese
- 6 slices Provolone cheese
- 1 Tablespoon Everything but the Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°. Spray a 9-inch by 13-inch pan with nonstick spray.
- Slice the rolls in half and remove the top half.
- In a small bowl mix Dijon mustard, 2 Tablespoons butter, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Spread over the bottom half of the buns.
- Layer ham over the mustard.
- Place 2 rows of swiss cheese over the ham , then the cranberry sauce - adding a thin layer, then a final layer of the provolone cheese.
- Place the top half of the buns back on.
- Spread remaining butter over the tops of the buns and sprinkle with the bagel seasoning.
- Cover with tinfoil and place in the oven. Bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for the remaining 5 minutes.
- Remove and serve immediately.
