Ingredients For Lush
- Oreos: You will use Oreos to make the cookie crust and decorate the top of the dessert.
- Butter: Real butter is what I recommend for creating richness in the dessert.
- Cream Cheese: Use room temperature for a creamy and smooth texture.
- Heavy Cream: A bit of heavy cream is used to help make a smoother consistency.
- Powdered Sugar: This will sweeten the filling without a gritty taste like granulated sugar.
- Cool Whip: This is going to add a fluffy and creamy consistency.
- Pudding: You will want instant chocolate pudding for the pudding layer.
- Milk: Whole milk is best, but you can use any milk you like.
- Chocolate: Create chocolate curls to top the chocolate Oreo lush.

Tips For Making This Dessert
- Using a food processor is going to help crush the cookies finely.
- Make sure you chill each layer in the fridge for a bit. That way, when you add the other layers, you get that defined layer between each layer.
- It is important to use softened cream cheese to create a smooth and creamy texture. Otherwise, it will be too lumpy.
- You can make this a day before you want to serve it. Just make sure it is covered tightly in the fridge.

Storing
Refrigerate any leftovers for up to 4 days. Then, you can slice, serve, and devour them. The longer they sit, the more the flavors blend together.
You can also freeze this dessert for up to 2 months. The texture will change slightly once it thaws, but it is very close to eating it fresh.
FAQs
Can I use homemade whipped cream instead of Cool Whip?
You can easily swap the store-bought Cool Whip for homemade whipped cream. Just know that homemade whipped cream can break down quicker, so the dessert will separate a bit as it sits in the fridge.
Can I use sugar-free pudding and light cream cheese?
If you want to lighten up this dessert a bit, you can opt for sugar-free pudding and whipped cream, followed by light cream cheese. This will help reduce some of the calories.
Can I make this dessert ahead of time?
Go ahead and make this dessert a day before you plan to serve it. Whip it up and store it in the fridge until you are ready to serve it.
Can I make this in individual servings?
You can make portions of this lush dessert in single-serve containers if you like. This is a great way to hand out desserts at parties or control portions.
