Ingredients Needed to Prepare This Beef and Noodle Recipe
Stew Beef – Use around two pounds of the stew beef for this recipe.
Brown Gravy Mix – Grab an envelope of brown gravy mix to add flavor to this noodle and beef recipe.
Cream of Mushroom Soup – You’ll need a single can of cream of mushroom soup to add to the slow cooker.
Dry Ranch Dressing – Add a touch of ranch flavor to the dish with a packet of dry ranch dressing.
You’ll also need some water and noodles to add to your slow cooker to complete this incredible meal.
What type of beef will I need?
It’s best to use stew beef for this recipe. If you have other beef cuts, you can chop the beef into chunks and then add it to the slow cooker so that it cooks perfectly with your cream of mushroom and other ingredients.
Which noodles should I use in this meal?
Amish egg noodles are an excellent match with this beefy, creamy recipe. Of course, if you don’t have egg noodles, you can use a different type of pasta that you do have on hand to improvise. However, if you’re going out to grab ingredients to make this meal, be sure to get the Amish egg noodles because they make such a difference!
Do I have to use cream of mushroom soup?
No. While the recipe calls for cream of mushroom, it’s fine to replace it with cream of broccoli, cream of chicken, or even cream of celery, depending on which one of those you happen to like best.
How long will it take to make this meal?
You can have this meal ready to consume in as little as four hours or as long as eight hours, depending on the setting you choose. If you want it to cook slowly throughout the day, choose the low setting! If you prefer to have it done at a faster pace, go for the high setting.
Recipe Notes & Tips:
You can add veggies to this beef and noodle recipe, such as frozen peas, carrots, and corn.
Be sure to wait to put your noodles into the slow cooker until the last hour of cooking. If you put them in too soon, the noodles will come out soggy, and you don’t want that.
