Brown Sugar: The brown sugar adds more molasses-caramel flavor to the apple mixture for a sweeter taste.

Storing Leftovers
If you have any leftovers, you will need to store the leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They will store for 2-3 days. You can eat it cold or warm it up in the microwave.
You can also extend the life of leftovers even more by freezing them. Place them in a freezer-friendly container for 1-2 months.
Helpful Tips For Success
Separating the biscuits is a must, as you want to create that layered texture for the bread to get the perfect blend of bread and apple filling.
Dice the apples into small, bite-sized pieces so the bread has an even texture.
Thoroughly coat the apples in the spices and sugar mixture. I prefer to peel the apples as leaving the skins on will create a chewy texture when you eat the bread.
This bread is best when served warm and fresh from the oven. It will have the best texture.
You can double the recipe. Just use a larger pan or make it in two different pans.
